I am currently in college pursuing my master’s degree in architectural studies at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. I’d like to think about my design style as being “unique” judging from the work that I have completed thus far. In my college career I have completed multiple conceptual building designs along with construction documents on a comprehensive project. I have been apart of a design/build program which was very fascinating, being able to take an idea from the design phase all the way through to construction was an unprecedented experience.

Outside of college, I work at an architectural office which also has a sister contracting company (db Architecture of Acadiana). It is very nice to be a part of design meetings with clients and see these projects get constructed. It allows me to see the project from the beginning through the end, putting my hands on conceptual phases of the projects and the technical.

On my personal time I also create custom furniture. As you can see in the furniture section of my portfolio, they are quite different and I have gotten a decent amount of positive feedback on those projects. Up to the present, I have made this a side business that I can work on, in free time outside of my studies. Instead of looking at this as a business, I look at it in more of a way of expressing and experimenting my ideas. There is a certain freedom that comes with furniture that allows me to satisfy that specific creative idea quickly, along with ending with a finished product that someone else can enjoy. If you are reading this and are interested in a possible piece of furniture please contact me.
